Anita's Story

When Anita joined MumsFirst, she was working in a contract role. Coincidentally, an opportunity opened up in her office — the incumbent had been promoted, and the position needed to be filled. Her performance had stood out, and her employer already knew she held an accounting certificate from Nigeria, equivalent to a Canadian diploma.

But when the opportunity came, her first instinct was hesitation. However, as she thought back to her coaching sessions and the confidence she had built there, she pushed herself to say yes to an opportunity she would have initially turned down.

Anita stepped into the role and made it her own. She was offered the position permanently, full-time, with an increase in salary , a milestone she credits directly to the confidence she gained through coaching.
